The mission of our non-profit organization is to help bring an end to AIDS. The achieve this goal, we have established the following goals:

Provide a creative means for remembrance and healing
Illustrate the enormity of the AIDS epidemic
Increase public awareness of AIDS
Assist with HIV prevention education
Raise funds for community-based AIDS service organizations

Our organization offers the following:

Panelmaking
This activity is an effective tool to help communities "break the silence" about HIV/AIDS.  These workshops provides a way to the express loss of a loved-one, commemorate their memory, and provides a powerful way for the healing process to begin.  In addition, we offer our "Threads of Hope" program which was developed to provide supplies to foreign countries to make panels, and a community service project to partner US schools, churches, and organizations with foreign countries.

Displays
We arrange both small and large displays of the International Quilt in schools, places of worship, businesses, community organizations, and for World AIDS Day and Int'l Candlelight Vigil commemorations.

Outreach and Programs
Organize outreach and educational activities to expose children and adults to the powerful message of the AIDS Memorial Quilt.

Fundraising and Donations
We have a variety of events to support our work through annual and special fundraising events, display honorariums, matching grants, and membership opportunities for individuals and organizations.

Volunteering is encouraged for anyone who wishes to join our growing family. We are friends, lovers, parents, spouses and family members. We are gay men, lesbians, straight, white, people of color, working professionals, retirees and students. All of our lives are touched by AIDS. Committee positions are always available to those interested in working with our organization.
